Happy Friday everyone! Today we have the perfect cocktail. Sticking with the Thanksgiving theme, we are doing a deliciously tart Key Lime Cosmopolitan. The Cosmopolitan was the signature drink for Carrie Bradshaw and her friends in the 90’s Sex and the City series and before that it was a favorite among celebrities (such as Madonna and others). In the 1960’s, the recipe was on the Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice bottles and was known at that time as the Harpoon. This is a refreshing drink that’s both sweet and tart.
Start by adding ice, vodka, Grand Marnier, cranberry juice, and key lime juice to a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously until ice cold and then strain into a chilled martini glass. Go ahead and try this one today! You will not be disappointed! Enjoy!
