Here’s a quick trick for an easy, amazing dinner. Chicken Parmigiana is one of my favorite dinners. In fact, it’s a go-to for me. For some reason, I always crave it after a long day of work, but who wants to go through the hassle of cooking an elaborate meal from scratch after working all day? Fear not, I have you covered. I call this cheater chicken parmigiana because it’s all store-bought. I use Foster Farms chicken patties, Havarti cheese slices, and store bought marinara, all from my local Costco, but you can substitute with any of your favorite brands.
Cook the patties per the packaging’s instructions. Once done cooking, pull the backing sheet out of the oven, place one or two slices of Havarti on each patty, turn the oven off, and return the patties to the oven for about five more minutes just to melt the cheese. Remove the patties from oven and serve with your favorite noodles and a salad or side dish. For plating, I place a small portion of noodles on the plate. Next, add a spoonful or two of the marinara sauce. Then, I place the chicken patty with cheese on the noodles, add a little more marinara, and top it off with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. And viola! Dinner is served. This recipe takes less than 20 minutes and is delicious! I would pick this over take-out, any day. Enjoy!
